What exactly is the Parade of Homes?

The Parade of Homes is an opportunity for Acadiana-based builders and their associates to showcase their hard work. It is a self-guided tour during which ticket holders can view as many participating homes as they would like in any order they choose.

The public can buy tickets to tour all the homes on the Parade to see the latest in home building design and products.

From the Acadian Home Builders Association:

Houses included in the Parade exhibit the hottest trends in architecture, floor layout, building materials, and appliances. Some are also furnished by local interior designers in a wide range of styles. Square footage and prices range from starter homes to estates.

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets are available at the Parade of Homes website here. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Lafayette locations of Doug Ashy Building Materials.

The cost is $15 per person ages three and older.

Of course, they have an app.

You can download the App to see all homes, builder information and get turn by turn directions.

Just simply search "AHBA Parade of Homes" in your device's app store. And, of course, it's free to download.
