2025 Lafayette Stars & Stripes Fourth of July Celebration — Everything You Need to Know Before You Go

LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) - Lafayette's big Fourth of July celebration is returning to the heart of Downtown Lafayette this Friday, July 4, 2025, and there will be a ton of great activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Lafayette Stars & Stripes, presented by LUS and LFT Fiber, will surely be a grand evening filled with patriotic spirit, live music, food, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and a giant fireworks finale.

LIVE MUSIC

Performances will include the two-time Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, along with The Good Dudes, DJ RV, Layla Lavergne, and School of Rock Acadiana.

ACTIVITIES & SPECIAL FEATURES

The event will feature a Kids Tent, access to the Children's Museum playground, face painting, photo booth, flag ceremony by the Lafayette Fire Department, cooling tents, and a fireworks show beginning at 9:00 pm.

EVENT GUIDELINES

Pets, ice chests, and outside food or beverages are not permitted at the event.

PARKING

Parking is available in both downtown garages: Parc-Auto du Centerville (121 E. Vermilion Street) and South Buchanan Garage (809 South Buchanan), as well as street parking throughout Downtown Lafayette.
