You Haven’t Visited Louisiana Unless You’ve Had These 10 Experiences
(KMDL-FM) Dear Billy Nungesser, hey, it's me again. This time, I am not writing to get all up in your business about Louisiana Shrimp. I do appreciate your response on that issue, and I thank you for your support of Louisiana's shrimping industry and the families that it supports.

But I am writing today about an idea I have to promote Louisiana. I call it the "Louisiana Card". It's probably been done before, but it makes explaining it easy. Think of it like a sandwich shop that puts a stamp on a "loyalty card" every time you go back for a sandwich; it's like that.
Here's A Way to Make Visiting Louisiana Even More Memorable
Except, instead of different sandwiches, it has different Louisiana events, celebrations, venues, and experiences that everyone who lives in Louisiana should experience, and everyone who visits Louisiana will want to experience. You get a "punch" on your card for each event or attraction that you visit.

My idea is this: if we get Louisiana people to visit inside our state and become more familiar with our unique way of life when compared to life outside our state, they become better ambassadors for those who are passing through.
People will do a better job of explaining the experience if they have lived it. It seems to me this could and would be a win/win situation for our state, our state's tourism, and our state's visitors who will be leaving Louisiana with great memories thanks to our "local" ambassadors.
Just think of all the folks you could have told about Louisiana tourism when you had your job at Sonic. I am sorry that didn't work out for you.
We Need a Louisiana Card That Folks Will Actually Use

We track this with our "Louisiana Card." Once you get all the punches made, then you qualify for fabulous prizes or an appointment on the Orleans Parish Levee Board; I hear that pays well. Anyway, feel free to expand and expound.
