A Halloween favorite will soon be making its triumphant return to McDonald's in a few days.

Nope, we're not talking about the McRib. We already know those spooky-yet-tasty sandwiches are coming back in November.

The fast food giant has announced it will be bringing back its Boo Buckets in time for Halloween.

These iconic collectible buckets have been captivating children and adults alike since 1986 when they were introduced as an alternative to the regular cardboard packaging that came with Happy Meals.

McDonald's brought back the popular buckets last year after being on hiatus for a few years.

The buckets come in three colors: orange, green, and white.

Each color is matched with the spooky face of a jack-o'-lantern, witch, or ghost, named McPunk'n, McGoblin, and McBoo.

The buckets will be available starting on October 18 and will be sold until Halloween, October 31.

If you want to get your hands on one of these Boo Buckets, you can order a Happy Meal at a restaurant or via the McDonald's app. You can choose from the standard options like hamburger, cheeseburger, or Chicken McNuggets, along with a side of fries or apple slices and drink.

There is no extra cost to get one of these buckets. Usually, a Happy Meal comes with a toy, but for this stretch of the year, in lieu of a toy, you get the bucket instead.

McDonald's said it's best to act fast, as there is a chance the Boo Buckets could sell out.
