Best Corn Mazes in Louisiana for Fall 2026

LOUISIANA - Fall has arrived in Louisiana, and all the wonderful festivities and events associated with this time of year are in full swing. We've got football, festivals, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and one of my favorites: corn mazes.

And today, we're talking corn mazes. I did some snooping around and have put together a list of public corn mazes across the state. Sadly, the list isn't as long as it has been in the past. (Can't imagine it's too easy or cheap to do one of those, right?)

One Long-Running Corn Maze Likely Not Operating This Fall

For example, the folks who have operated the Cajun Country Corn Maze for years (now located in Zachary). That corn maze doesn't appear to be operating this year because of permitting issues with the state. If something changes and that corn maze opens this fall, we'll be sure to add it to our list.

Before we get to the list, we thought we'd give you a brief synopsis of a corn maze. It's a life-sized puzzle cut into growing cornfields where visitors walk through tall stalks to find their way to an exit or checkpoints.

How Do Corn Mazes Work?

Design: Paths are cut into fields or tall field corn using computers and global positioning system (GPS) technology.
Experience: The walls of the maze tower well above human height, creating dead ends and false trails.
Seasonality: They operate mainly as agritourism attractions during the fall harvest season before the corn dries out.
Variations: Some farms include trivia games, checkpoints, or become haunted attractions with actors after dark.

Now, let's have some fun. Below are the corn mazes that we have found operating in Fall 2026 across the state. (Keep in mind, most of these offer plenty of other family-friendly activities besides just the corn maze.)
