The prize redemption department of the Louisiana Lottery tells us that there are actually three Powerball winners, each valued at $50,000, that are in danger of expiring. There is also a $223,465 winner in the Easy 5 game that will expire in a little over one month.

Two $50,000 Louisiana Powerball Winners Will Expire in Less Than Two Weeks

The Powerball winner that will expire on March 2, next Monday, was sold in Gretna, Louisiana, for the September 3rd drawing. The $50,000 winner that will expire on March 5th or next Wednesday was sold for the September 6th drawing. That ticket was purchased in Tickfaw, Louisiana.

The third $50,000 Powerball winner has loads of time compared to those other two tickets. That ticket won't expire until August 10th of this year. The prize was won as part of the February 11th drawing. That Powerball winner was purchased in Marrero, Louisiana.

The Easy 5 winner, that's the ticket valued at $223,475.00, is from the September 27th drawing. It was purchased in Slidell, Louisiana. That ticket is set to expire on March 26th. So, if that's your ticket, you've got a little over a month to cash that in or the lottery will reclaim your prize.
