Monday Night’s LSU-Florida Game Was ESPN’s Most Watched College World Series Game Ever
LSU fans helped break a couple of records in the past week.
Of course, the Jell-O shot record was smoked a few days ago and now we've learned that another impressive feat was reached.
According to ESPN, Monday's national baseball championship-deciding game against Florida was watched by 3.58 million. That makes it ESPN's most-watched College World Series game ever.
Viewership peaked at 4.2 million audience members during the broadcast.
The game was also the second-most watched baseball game so far in 2023. According to Front Office Sports, it was only topped by the U.S.-Japan World Baseball Classic final.
While Game 3 of the Championship Series was the record-breaker, the other two games had impressive viewership numbers, as illustrated in the tweet below.
Of course with the big win, the LSU Tigers are now seven-time national champions in baseball.
