New I-10 Amphitheater Announces Major Concert in September
The new Sound Amphitheater will officially welcome its first crowds this Friday. When it does then music lovers from Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and from all over the northern Gulf and the Gulf South in general will have one more great place to come enjoy live music under the stars.
The Sound Amphitheater which unveiled portions of its lineup earlier this year has already confirmed that the first act to take the stage will be the legendary dance band, KC & the Sunshine Band. They will grace the stage this Friday, April 12th. Tickets are still available and can be secured for as little as $20 through Ticketmaster. Of course, your Ticketmaster fees might actually be higher than the ticket price but such is the case with alleged monopolies, right?
The venue also has another show set for April 19th. Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will perform along with the North Mississippi Allstars. Tickets for that show start at $40 bucks. Other concerts on the schedule include Justin Moore on May 24th, Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid on August 4th, Lauren Daigle on August 16th, and Sam Hunt on September 6th.
Major Country Act Announced for Sound Amphitheater
The latest act to be confirmed by the Sound Amphitheater is Miranda Lambert. Lambert who just wrapped up a residency in Las Vegas will appear at the Gautier, Mississippi venue on September 27th. That will be one day before the Melissa Ethridge/Jewel show that was announced earlier this year.
Lambert who is a multi-platinum-selling artist has had such hits as "The House That Built Me", "Mama's Broken Heart", "Tin Man", "Over You", and others announced the date on her website. That was confirmed by the Sound Amphitheater.
Tickets for Miranda Lambert will go on sale on April 12th. Tickets may be purchased via Ticketmaster or through the artist's website. If you'd like information on a presale code, you can find that here.
