CENTRAL, La. (KMDL-FM) - A Central, Louisiana woman has been arrested and is facing numerous charges after causing a crash while driving with a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit according to the Central Police Department.

Woman's Blood Alcohol Level Nearly 3 Times Legal Limit

The Central Police Department says that they have arrested a 24-year-old Central, Louisiana woman after toxicology reports show she had a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit while causing a crash in Central.

According to WAFB, Olivia Will, 24, is charged with three counts of first-degree negligent vehicular injuring, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Police said the crash happened on Lovett Road and involved two vehicles that slammed head-on into each other. Will was driving one of the vehicles without any passengers, while two people were in the other vehicle.

Central PD say that everyone involved in the crash suffered serious injuries, with some being life-threatening.

Will was the driver at fault in the crash, with speeding and improper lane usage suspected to be the cause.

According to unfilteredwithkiran.com one of the vehicles involved in the crash had a husband and wife inside and both were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, Will was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical condition.
