Pentagon Releases New UFO Files With Strange Videos and Reports

WASHINGTON - The mystery surrounding UFOs just got another major update.

The Pentagon has released its fourth batch of declassified UFO files, giving the public access to dozens of additional documents, videos, images, and audio recordings tied to unexplained sightings spanning almost eight decades.

The new batch of UFO, or UAP, files are certainly interesting, but there's video of one strange object included in the files that seems to really have people talking.

The Pentagon's Latest UFO Release Includes 40 New Files

The latest release adds 40 newly declassified records to the government's growing online archive of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), the official term now used instead of UFO.

This fourth release includes:

19 videos
14 government documents
4 audio recordings
3 photographs

According to cbsnews.com "the files cover reported incidents dating from 1948 through 2025 and include military sightings, historical investigations, witness interviews, and cases that government investigators say remain unexplained."

The Pentagon also released new videos, several of which show unidentified objects recorded during military operations.

Some clips feature objects moving in ways that sparked questions among observers, but officials caution that unusual footage alone is not proof of alien spacecraft. Many incidents remain unresolved simply because investigators don't have enough information to reach a definitive conclusion as to what exactly they really are.

Why The Government Keeps Releasing More UFO Records

Officials say the goal is greater transparency while allowing researchers, journalists, scientists, and the public to examine the material themselves. More releases are expected in the coming months as more records are reviewed and declassified.

The UFO Video That Has Everyone Talking

To be honest, I haven't really been paying too much attention to the previous UFO and UAP video and documents that have been released. However, when I saw one of the recently declassified UFO videos, it instantly grabbed my attention.

In the video at the 1:19 mark, you'll see video of something...pretty strange. Well, it's either pretty strange or easily explained as possibly a cluster of balloons.
