Local businesses will close on Friday or, at the very least, close early in most cases. Schools across Acadiana will also be closed for Spring Break, including Lafayette Parish schools, which will be closed from April 18th through the 25th.

While most Louisiana folks would argue that crawfish are the center of attention for Easter weekend, you can't have an Easter basket with candy. Although an Easter basket full of crawfish might not be such a bad idea.

From Reeces Eggs to sweet tart jelly beans, the special addition Easter candy that comes out every year will somehow find its way into our secret candy drawer.

That said, if you also keep a stash for yourself, make sure you avoid this recently recalled candy bar.
