You can only imagine what it must be like to have to slide down the emergency slides due to a problem with your Delta flight, but for the 200 passengers onboard a flight to Minneapolis, this was their reality this morning according to CNN.

We are working to determine whether or not any local passengers from our area were on the flight.

The Federal Aviation Administration says they are aware of the situation, and that Delta told them they had a "reported engine issue".

Pictures and video of passengers having to use the slides on the sides of the plane due to the emergency landing are filling up social media.

You can see people using the slides after one passenger told CNN that there was a fire in the engine.
