About a week ago, we reported that the Crawfish Barn in Vidrine, Louisiana was destroyed in a major fire, and now owners are asking for the public's cooperation.

The building in Evangeline Parish was a total loss. Flames ripped through it, and investigators are on the scene attempting to determine what caused the blaze at the popular restaurant.

While the owners are trying to restore their lives, they had to post a heartfelt message on social media asking the public to avoid the scene. Some in the Vidriine community are trespassing on the property where the Crawfish Barn once stood, obstructing investigators.

In a Facebook message, the property owners stated, " Unfortunately, people are trespassing on the property and slowing down the process. Investigators were there today and stated that they spent most of the day turning people away."

The owners of the property would also ask anyone who sees people near or in the rubble to contact the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office.

Here's the unfortunate message that had to be shared by those who just lost their business.
