Authorities in New Orleans are ready to host Super Bowl LIX, and now they say the city is the safest it has ever been.

After what we saw happen on New Year's Eve on Bourbon Street, where a terrorist drove through the crowded street, killing and injuring several people, authorities have taken extreme measures to protect those in attendance.

Not only have barriers been set up around the city and the Ceasars Superdome permittee, but a "No Done Zone" has been issued and announced by the Federal Aviation Administration for much of the New Orleans area.

Various agencies have come together to protect the city on Super Bowl Sunday, and one measure they have taken is to protect the skies overhead.

As you'll see in a graphic below, the "Drone Zone" extends 30 miles out from the Superdome, and if anyone violates the zone on Sunday, there will be serious fines and punishments for those found in violation.

Here's where drones will not be allowed to fly when the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles take the field on Sunday afternoon in downtown New Orleans.

Here's a look at what it looks like near the Superdome as the city prepares for the biggest football game of the year. The world will be watching.

Here's a message from Governor Jeff Landry and The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Krisit Noem.
