South Louisiana Teen Reported Missing Turns Herself in to Crowley Police Department
CROWLEY, La. (KPEL News) - Calli Jean Roberts, who was reported missing this week, has turned herself in, law enforcement officials tell KPEL News.
Roberts, who was last seen in Sunset, Louisiana on February 8, 2024, was reported missing by her family - who warned that she may have been heading to Texas. However, around 1 p.m. on Friday, it was reported that Roberts had turned herself in to the Crowley Police Department, and the search for her was canceled.
Family members had posted to social media in recent days, pleading for Roberts to return home. It appears as though their wish has come true.

A missing teen may be headed to Texas, and law enforcement are asking for assistance in locating her.
According to St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers, Calli Jean Roberts, 17, of Sunset, Louisiana, was last seen last seen at 264 Zick Miller Road in Sunset, Louisiana on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
She was possibly wearing black leggings with an oversized shirt, and cream low-top tennis shoes.
Social media postings suggest the teen may be trying to head to Texas. Family and friends have been sharing her photo on social media, hoping to raise awareness and get any assistance they can in locating her.
The circumstances regarding her disappearance are not public at this time, nor is the reason she might be headed to Texas.
