We've been taught to think the ceiling of a rap superstar is being a culture shifting icon, but often times it's their ability to touch the lives of their fans that truly reins in the totality of their impact. Such is the case of J. Cole's most recent act of goodwill.

Recently, a Twitter user by the name of Robert Griffin, whose son was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer, tweeted out a special request to Dreamville Records' Bas: help his son meet the rap superstar.

"My 11 year old son @ his first concert in 2015.Just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and all he wants is to meet J Cole. Please help me Bas," Griffin wrote in a tweet posted on July 29. The tweet includes what appears to be an image of the boy meeting Bas at his first concert two years ago.

Bas quickly responded, tweeting at Griffin, "Check your dms champ." It was at that point the plan was apparently set in motion.

About 10 days later, Griffin uploaded a few images of his son hanging out with the 4 Your Eyez Only rapper and the Dreamville team in what appears to be the dressing room Cole was in before or after a show on his 4 Your Eyez Only tour. In the pictures, we can see the kid posing for pictures and giving Cole a hug. It looks like it was a pretty touching moment for everyone involved.
