JAY Z Ferociously Assaulted By Beyonce’s Sister Solange

Jay Z was assaulted in an elevator by Beyonce's sister Solange during a Met Gala after party last week at the Standard Hotel in NYC. The attack was caught on the elevator's surveillance camera and TMZ was on the scene to capture the footage of the Jay, Beyonce, and Solange leaving the venue and entering separate vehicles.

No word on what caused Solange to violently attack at Jay Z, but judging from the surveillance footage, it appears Solange was enraged.

Beyonce, who was also in the elevator, was not involved in the altercation.

At one point during the attack, Solange is seen forcibly restrained by what appears to be a bodyguard while Jay Z protects himself.

Jay did not attempt to strike Solange during the exchange.
