Jeanerette Family Returns To Home Destroyed By Tree During Storm [VIDEO]

The family that lost their home during Hurricane Barry has returned to their home in Jeanerette and there isn't much left to salvage.

This is the same family that nearly lost their mother during the storm after a tree fell on their home and pinned her under the tree.

By some miracle, the woman's husband and a firefighter were able to lift the tree off of the woman and rescue her. But during the rescue, thousands of bees attacked them.

Now, they are out of the hospital and returned to their home with our media partners from KATC TV-3.
