Jennifer Lawrence Marries Cooke Maroney
Actress Jennifer Lawrence and art-dealer Cooke Maroney tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony with 150 guests in attendance on Saturday (October 19).
The wedding was held at the Belcourt of Newport, a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, that was inspired by Louis XIII’s hunting lodge at Versailles and built in 1894. Carolyn Rafaelian, the CEO of the popular jewelry brand, Alex and Ani, currently owns the home.
Lawrence wore a Dior gown, according to People. The 29-year-old has appeared in numerous commercials and has been the face of the brand since 2012.
Wedding guests included Adele, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner, Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen, Corey Gamble, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.
Guests enjoyed a 5-week-aged leg of beef with forager's sauce and salt cod beignets and s'mores at the reception, TMZ reports.
The happy couple held their wedding reception on Friday (October 18) where guests enjoyed a clambake in a white tent on the private Rose Island.
Lawrence and Maroney began dating in 2018 after mutual friends introduced the couple. The pair engaged in February of this year and were spotted by fans getting their marriage license in September.
