Jo-El Sonnier Serenades 104-Year-Old Woman For the Sweetest Valentine’s Day Ever [Video]
Local legend Jo-El Sonnier was looking to do something special for someone this Valentine's Day. He found sweet Mrs. Evalise who will turn 105 next month and serenaded her with "You Are My Sunshine". This is the one of the kindest things I've seen in a while.
"Well I told you I was gonna get to do something I've never done before today and I did. Bobbye was helpin' our friend David who owns Precious Memories Flower shop in Sulphur to deliver flowers and I didn't want her to spend Valentines Day without me so I asked if me and my Accordion could ride with her. And maybe they could find some sweet little lady that I could sing and play a song for. Well they found me a precious gift of God, Mrs. Evalise who is 104 years old. She will be 105 in April. What a blessin' to put a smile on her face, but the real blessin' was all mine."
