Joe Budden is not a fan of BTS, despite not having a clearcut reason as to why he feels this way.

On the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, which premiered today (April 6), Joe said he hates BTS and during his heated rant, he wrongly thought they were from China.

“I hate them BTS niggas,” he seethed.

When JBP co-hosts Ice and Ish asked Joe Budden to explain why, the retired rapper wouldn’t divulge his reasoning.

“Do I need a reason?” he replied. “I hate them niggas. I hate them. I don’t have to divulge my reason to you, I just hate them niggas.”

“I don’t want to hear that shit,” Joe continued. “I don’t want to see them dance moves. I don’t want to see you come down in the sky in a little umbrella. I don’t want to see want to see your four fuckin’ co-tees come from the audience and link up like Voltron and do all of the 98 Degrees moves. I don’t want to see it.”

“I know they’re big. I know it’s China,” he added, before JBP co-host Parks Vallely corrected Budden by informing him that the East Asian boyband is from Korea.

“I don’t want to see Korean-Sync,” Joe joked, comparing BTS to the 1990s pop group ’NSync.

Interestingly, Joe then asked why can’t someone hate a group that is successful and talented without giving a reason. Thankfully, Ice and Ish explained to Joe that you can't hate on a musical act for no reason at all. There has to be an explanation.

The BTS Army (aka the group's fan base) caught wind of Joe Budden’s comments, zeroed in on the retired rapper’s twitter account and flooded his mentions with slander.

Many of BTS’ fans accused Joe of being xenophobic and others called him a one-hit wonder, referencing to his 2003 top 10 hit "Pump It Up."

"Joe budden is 41 years old going on 13. you would think that a grown man would have enough sense and maturity to recognize his own blatant xenophobia. for a supposedly music artist turned middle school incel drama prone podcaster, im not even surprised at his unjustified comments," tweeted one fan.

Another person wrote: "Just heard the Joe Budden podcast clip of him hating BTS. Just say you are racist and xenophobic, alot quicker than claiming you hate them but 'don't need to have a reason.' Shut the fuck up. They are more successful than you will ever be. Continue to be jealous."

Another BTS fan said Joe’s music-based opinions are not worthy of listening to.

"Joe Budden a man with NO real achievements, just opinions. Shitty opinions at that," the person tweeted.

Joe Budden follows legendary producer-engineer Mike Dean who decided to throw some shade at BTS for performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards. As a result, Dean got dragged on Twitter from the BTS Army.

Be careful when talking about BTS, their fan base doesn't play when it comes to their favorite K-Pop band.
