If you grew up in the early aughts, chances are you listened to JoJo. The pop star released her first, self-titled album in 2004 and quickly followed it up with The High Road two years later. At 13 years old, she gave us a hit in "Leave (Get Out)," which rose to No. 1 on the pop songs chart and went certified gold. Only, you can't listen to that song on streaming services. Or any of her first two albums, for that matter. Upon releasing her freshman and sophomore efforts, she severed ties with Blackground Records, and things got messy.

“My former label removed my music, I unfortunately have absolutely no control over what they do or don’t do…I want to let bygones be bygones. I pray one day they put my music back up,” she tweeted in 2017 as an explanation why the albums weren't accessible to fans.

But that all changed on Friday (December 21). As a birthday present to herself, the singer—who turned 28 on December 20—rerecorded and rereleased both albums with updated tracks.
