Real-Life ‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ Says Bitcoin Is The Biggest ‘Scam’ Ever [VIDEO]
Are you invested in the cryptocurrency craze?
If not, the real-life 'Wolf of Wall Street', Jordan Belfort says you should probably stay that way. Cryptocurrency is one of the hottest topics in the world right now, even though many people don't even know or understand how to invest in it.
Some have described it as a "digital gold rush," but others say to be careful. Belfort says its a scam.
It’s the biggest scam ever, such a huge, gigantic scam that’s going to blow up in so many people’s faces. It’s far worse than anything I was ever doing
Mashable recently pointed something out that sides with Belfort's prediction. A big red flag with Bitcoin is that most of it is currently held by the cryptocurrency's creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
if he decided to drop his massive stash, he might become a trillionaire, but the market would plunge and a lot of people would lose loads of money as the bubble bursts
Belfort goes on to say that all it takes is a small percentage of bad people to ruin cryptocurrency for everyone—and with "everyone and their grandmother" wanting to dive right into the Bitcoin craze, it makes for prime pickings when it comes to scammers.
I’m not saying there’s something with the idea of cryptocurrencies, or even tulip bulbs. It’s the people who will then get involved and bastardize the idea
Some folks are seeing success with Bitcoin, while others still aren't sure whether the investment is for them, but as it continues to find its way into the mainstream, there are many questions surrounding the cryptocurrency craze.
