Well, history will be made.

According to a number of media outlets, Vice President Kamala Harris will be given presidential powers soon.

Harris is set to inherit the powers of the President of The United States as Joe Biden undergoes a routine medical procedure, a colonoscopy.

While President Biden is under anesthesia for the procedure, Harris who is next in line for the presidency will hold the powers of the office until Biden is able to return to the office.

This isn't the first time the Vice President is awarded the powers of the Presidency, I recall Dick Cheney inheriting such power when President George W Bush underwent a procedure.

However, this will be the first time in U.S. history that a woman is given the powers of the president.

We will continue to follow this developing story.
