After expressing his fandom of 6ix9ine a few weeks ago, it looks like Kanye West has gotten in the lab with the Brooklyn rapper.

The two controversial spittas were recently spotted in the studio seemingly working on new tunes. Pics show the two vibing in the lab. It is unclear what they were able to get accomplished, but whatever they produced should be interesting to say the least.

Back in May, Tekashi claimed he would be featured on Kanye's new Ye album. "I’m on it. I’m on the album," he told TMZ. "I swear. [Kanye] didn’t want me to tell y’all." Clearly, he didn't end up on the album, but he might not have totally been trolling.

A couple weeks ago, West conducted an interview on Chicago's Power 92 where he named 6ix9ine as one of his favorite new artists. He even defended the New York rapper despite his controversial aura and beef with other Chicago artists.

"It ain't no different type of controversy. We all the same," West noted. "What this make [6ix9ine] like a worst person than someone else or something? He's worst than one of our cousins that's locked up or something like that? That's our family."

In other 'Ye-related news, he recently teased the Watch the Throne 2 album on Twitter.
