Kanye West & Jay-Z Break iTunes All-Time Record

Kanye West & Jay-Z's, Watched The Throne smashed the iTunes record after almost 290,000 downloads were purchased last week. The release went on sale exclusively through iTunes from August 8-11.

The band Coldplay previously held the download record - their 2008 album Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends sold 282,000 in its first week. West and Jay-Z are projected to sale 500,000 copies by Wednesday, thus propelling it to the top of the Billboard charts.
