If you've ever been in a room of people who all think "Kanye West sucks" ...  except for like, one guy. Well, I can openly admit, I am that "one guy." Does excellence justify ignorance? What about arrogance? Nah, but, even Kanye knows he's an a**hole, and even though he couldn't care less what you think of him, he probably agrees with you on the reasons why you roll your eyes at any mention of his name.

When all is said and done, Kanye West will be one of the most influential artists of our time.  This statement may be bold, but in 20 years, find me and tell me if I was right or wrong. His latest effort, 'Watch The Throne', is a collaboration with Jay Z that has given us a body of critically acclaimed work in the form of an album. The collab has also produced one of the best live shows I have seen in a while on a tour that is crawling across the country, hitting different cities night by night.

Recently when the tour made a stop in Kanye's hometown of Chicago, the cameras were rolling as he visited his old neighborhood. Check out Ye explaining how it all started at age 5 as well as footage of a candid exchange with Spike Lee backstage.
