This past summer, Kanye West confirmed his bipolar disorder diagnosis on the cover of his 'Ye album. However, during a White House meeting with President Trump earlier today (Oct. 11), the rapper claimed that particular diagnosis was actually incorrect.

Wearing his Make America Great Again hat in the Oval Office, 'Ye proclaimed his admiration for the controversial president before he told him about his purported misdiagnosis. He it was an appointment with "a neuropsychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA and the NFL," that made the revelation.

“[The doctor] said that I actually wasn't bipolar, I had sleep deprivation, which can cause dementia 10 to 20 years from now where I wouldn’t even remember my son’s name," Kanye says in the meeting, which was ostensibly a conversation focused on preventing gang violence and increasing America's manufacturing force.

In that same portion of the meeting, 'Ye claims the doctor who revealed his misdiagnosis had found that 'Ye's IQ was in the 98th percentile. Pretty wild stuff.

While President Trump has approved of Kanye's continuing support (he called 'Ye a "smart cookie" during the meeting), Yeezy made some comments that would seemingly make a lot of his fans pretty upset. During the course of the conversation, 'Ye claimed that racism was just a tool liberals use to control Black people.

"A liberal will try to control a Black person through the concept of racism because they know that we're a very proud, emotional people," 'Ye explained. "So when I said I'm like Trump to someone that's liberal they'll say, 'Oh, he's racist.' You think racism can control me? Oh, that don't stop me, that's an invisible wall."

Around that same time, Kanye explained that he made his widely publicized comments about former U.S. President George W. Bush not caring about Black people because he was programmed to do so.

“I was very emotional and I was programmed to think from a victimized mentality. Of a welfare mentality,” 'Ye offered.
