Irv Gotti and Ja Rule stopped by The Breakfast Club on Wednesday morning (June 5) to promote the upcoming season of his BET show Tales, among other things. During the conversation, Irv all but confirmed that the season premiere will feature a brand new song by none other than Kanye West.

"So the normal thing how we do Tales, if you're a fan of Tales, is I take existing songs and turn them into movies. So the season premiere, July 2, will be a two-hour season premiere of a brand new record produced by me and my production partner Seven from a huge, huge, huge artist," Irv said. "I won't name the artist—you'll find out in a week or two. Controversial. The biggest, hugest artist who's been the most controversial in the last year."

When Envy says it's Kanye West, Irv yells, "I didn't say it! I didn't say it!" Shortly afterward, when Envy announces that the supposed new 'Ye song will be produced by Gotti, Gotti again chimes in to say that it's also produced by his partner Seven. Again, he doesn't confirm the 'Ye song, but comes about as close as you can to doing so.

Back in November of 2017, Irv posted a photo of himself and Kanye West on Instagram and hinted that they were working on "something enormous." Though he didn't provide any further context, now it seems that we may have the answer.

"When 2 people like me and Kanye get together. Hip Hop is about to get something enormous. Like enormous," Irv wrote in the photo caption. "2 crazy. Out of the box thinkers. That only thinks about serving the world!! Hahah. Stay Tuned. Great great great meeting of the minds. Like i told him. We have to take a pic of this. #kanyeandgotti shout out to @godsmessenger Thank You My Nigga."
