Although Kanye West has been quiet on the musical front as of late, fans are hoping that he will release his long-delayed Yandhi project sometime this year.

In a March 7 interview with YouTube show The Lunch Table, engineer Kevin Celik revealed a few tidbits about Kanye's album, and one of those tidbits was the claim that Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign would appear on the LP. He said as much while describing some of the LP.

"There's a song on the album called 'New Body' and Nicki Minaj is on it," revealed Celik, who said that Yandhi "is about women's empowerment" and the “go get your own bag type shit." "It's Kanye, Nicki and Ty Dolla $ign [and] it's Kim K-inspired for sure."

Elsewhere in the interview, Celik said that he was happy the veteran rapper-producer pushed back Yandhi because he was able to work on it a bit more. "I was able to work on three songs," he said, adding that the songs are monumental and they will shake the game up this year.

There's no word on when Yandhi will be released. As far as what we know about the project, it appears some of the songs were recorded in Chicago and possibly in Uganda, where 'Ye built an outdoor studio to work on new music. If his recent Sunday session celebrations are any indication, Yandhi could have a spiritual vibe. We'll just have to wait and see.
