Musicians the world over are still heartbroken over the loss of Tom Petty. The latest artist to pay her respects? Kesha.

While performing at the House of Blues in Boston Wednesday night (October 4), the Rainbow singer paid homage to the late, great Petty with a cover of his 1991 hit, "Into the Great Wide Open."

"Not trying to be a downer but I just think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and I want to pay my respects," Kesha told the crowd before launching into the song. Watch below:

Petty passed away Monday, October 2. He was 66.
