Lady Gaga fans in New Orleans can hardly contain their excitement after Mother Monster posted a photo on her Instagram with Metairie Road in the background.

Gaga is somewhere in the lower United States for a "Southern wedding" according to posts on her Instagram—and what better place in the south for a wedding than the Big Easy?

For what it's worth, a couple of months ago Gaga posted photos to her Instagram from a wild bachelorette party weekend for her childhood friend Arianne—who just so happens to live in New Orleans.

If you need any more confirmation, this post from Gaga's best friend, Bo O'Connor—who the pop singer was a bridesmaid for back in 2013—should be convincing enough.

What's really awesome is that, through worldwide fame and superstardom, Gaga is still close with her lifelong friends and seems to be genuinely content "seeing happiness in the lives" of her friends.
