Locals went out of their way to help the community. Our Savior’s Church and Xclusive Kuts Barber Shop joined forces to offer some Christmas cheer to Acadiana. On Saturday they held a free Christmas event at the Hope Center in St. Martinville.

The event gave families in need haircuts and Christmas photos free of charge. What a generous gift to our communtiy.

The owner of Xclusive Kuts, Jason Louviere, said his business usually offers free “Back to School” haircuts, but he couldn’t this year due to the pandemic. According to KATC, that’s when he decided to partner with Our Savior’s Church to do something special for Christmas and give to those in need.

With the way the world's going, everybody needs to come together and be one. Everybody's going in different directions; this is a great way to get everyone together. Jason Louviere

Even the clients of Xclusive Kuts have big hearts. In a Facebook post, they posted that one of their good clients donated 10 bikes for families in need this Christmas.
