Lafayette Group Providing Laundry Service to Evacuees in the Area

A Lafayette group is providing a laundry service to evacuees in the area.

According to KATC, they will offer their services on September 11, 2020, from 4 pm to Sunday, September 13, 2020. They will wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry to help out the evacuees who are located in the Lafayette area.

Here are the steps to be taken in order to receive the laundry service:

1. Text 337-281-9368 your Name, address (or hotel/rm#), # of bags you have, and your preferred pick up day if you have one. We will accommodate as best as possible and may ask to meet at a local store!
2. Place your clothes in a trash bag and LABEL with your name and address!
3. Label the bag "Allergy" if you have skin allergies and need "free & clear" detergent!
4. We will text you on our way to pick up and on our way to deliver.
5. If you need water or food, text that too and how many mouths you need feed!
