Lafayette Kid Reels In Massive Bluefin Tuna
Give it up for a Lafayette 8th-Grader, Kaleb Richardson, who reeled in a massive bluefin tuna 120 miles south of Grand Isle.
According to Louisiana Sportsman, the massive fish weighed in at 835-pounds!! A biologist says the female tuna was approximately 15-years old.
This catch will certainly make its way into the record books and may be the fourth largest tuna ever caught in the state of Louisiana.
Kaleb is an 8th-Grader at Ascension Episcopal School in Youngsville.
