Lafayette Police Investigating Homicide of 22-Year-Old Man

The Lafayette Police Department was called out to the scene of a homicide earlier this afternoon.

According to reports, a 22-year-old Black man was shot and killed at Greystone Apartments on Reserve Drive in Lafayette around noon on Wednesday.

(Greystone Apartments are located right behind the Acadiana Mall.)

Very little is known about the incident at this time.

LPD has not yet released the identity of the victim and the investigation is ongoing.
