Lafayette Police Looking For Individuals Who Stole Over $1000 Worth Of Sunglasses
Chances are you have seen signs posted in fitting rooms and in retail stores warning that shoplifting is a punishable offense. Most businesses train their employees on how to observe behavior that gives away someone who has the intention of stealing. In most cases, if the item doesn't have a sensor the theft can go undetected.
Almost always the theft is caught on camera and shared on social media in hopes that someone can help identify the suspects. That was the case with this most reason incident that happened in Lafayette, Louisiana last week.
Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department are looking for two suspects who stole over one thousand dollars in merchandise from a Lafayette business on July 22, 2023.
At 2:15 pm the suspects entered Sunglass Hut located in the Acadiana Mall at 5725 Johnston St. in Lafayette Louisiana. It was then that the two suspects committed a felony theft at the location. They stole $1,302.00 in merchandise from Sunglass Hut.
Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police are asking for the publics help in identifying the suspects who are caught on camera stealing sunglasses from the location.
