Chances are you have seen signs posted in fitting rooms and in retail stores warning that shoplifting is a punishable offense. Most businesses train their employees on how to observe behavior that gives away someone who has the intention of stealing. In most cases, if the item doesn't have a sensor the theft can go undetected.

Almost always the theft is caught on camera and shared on social media in hopes that someone can help identify the suspects. That was the case with this most reason incident that happened in Lafayette, Louisiana last week.
