After a year of being closed, everyone is being invited to the reopening of the Lafayette Science Museum Saturday, April 10.

Museum Administrator Kevin Krantz says, "there will be a Mammoth-sized surprise", so that's one good reason to check things out when they open back up.

The new hours of operation will be on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m, and then Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and this includes the Planetarium. In the press release, Krantz says there will be limited seating for the Planetarium. Seating will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Krantz says they are so excited to be opening up, "We are thrilled to reopen."

He adds,

We have also taken every precaution to ensure a safe return for all of our visitors. We have missed our science community, and we look forward to seeing you all.

The Lafayette Science Museum is located at 433 Jefferson Street.
