Leonard Nimoy, most well-known for portraying Spock on the Star Trek franchise, died at the age of 83. He was hospitalized late last week suffering from end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), according to Yahoo UK.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Susan Bay Nimoy.
