For the third time in his tenure as head coach at LSU, Les Miles' name has been linked to the vacant job at Michigan.

The other two times, broadcast reports insisted Miles would be leaving Baton Rouge to return to his alma mater.

This time, Miles didn't wait for the rumors to hit a fever pitch.

In a post practice chat with reporters last night, Miles said he'd be staying at LSU.  Miles refused to be quoted on the record, but said neither he nor his agent, George Bass have heard from Michigan.  And, if the call were to be made, Miles made it clear he would not be interested.

According to LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette, Miles has told the athletic administration he has not been contacted by Michigan and has no plans to leave LSU.

Miles will close out his tenth season as head coach of the Tigers in the Music City Bowl against Notre Dame.
