Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road (Remix)" is officially here, and, as was originally reported Wednesday (April 2), it features an appearance from Billy Ray Cyrus.

Lil Nas X's verses are the same ones from his original breakout hit, but if you're a fan of the original, you've obviously got no problem with that. Mixing a country aesthetic with some old-fashion flexing, the veteran singer adds his own flair to the track.

"Hat down, cross town, livin' like a rockstar/Spent a lot of money on my brand new guitar/Baby's got a habit, diamond rings and Fendi sports bras/Ridin' down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car/Got no stress, I've been through all that/I'm like a Marlboro man so I kick on back/Wish I could roll on back to that old town road/I wanna ride 'til I can't no more," Cyrus belts out on the track.

Cyrus first became interested in Lil Nas X after he heard that he saw the controversy surrounding the chart designation of "Old Town Road," which was deemed to be lacking too many elements of traditional country to remain on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

"@lilnasx Been watching everything going on with OTR. When I got thrown off the charts, Waylon Jennings said to me “Take this as a compliment” means you’re doing something great! Only Outlaws are outlawed. Welcome to the club!" Cyrus told Lil Nas X, who hails from Atlanta.
