Just about two months removed from announcing his unofficial retirement, Lil Uzi Vert serves up yet another tantalizing sample of some unreleased music. On Tuesday evening (March 12), the former XXL Freshman jumped into an Instagram Live session and played a brand-new song for fans.

In a video of the session, Uzi sits back in a car as he plays the track for his fans and the man in the whip with him. From the beginning of the track, the speaker-thumping instrumental and Uzi's typically energetic flows catch your attention. Of course, his condescending flexes are also present and accounted for.

"These niggas broke boys, watch this, watch this/I can make the whole crowd moshpit," Uzi spits at one point of the song.

It's unclear when this song was recorded, but it wouldn't be too surprising to hear it on his presumably forthcoming Eternal Atake album. Here's to hoping that LP drops soon.

As we alluded to up top, Uzi previously announced that he was retiring from music back in January.

“I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supporters but I’m done with music,” Uzi wrote on his Instagram story at the time. “I deleted everything. I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013.”

While Uzi sounded like he was over the music industry at the time, it looks like he's locked into his rap career for the foreseeable future.
