Lil Uzi Vert Learns a Valuable Lesson While Shopping With Kanye

Last Wednesday (Jan. 12), Lil Uzi Vert had the distinct pleasure of shopping with legendary fashion aficionado-rapper Kanye West, and it looks like he learned some stuff on the trip. Speaking with the folks at MTV while on the red carpet of the 2018 Grammy Awards this past Sunday (Jan. 28), the rapper revealed gave a bit of insight into Yeezy's shopping habits.

Apparently, Yeezy's a family man through and through, focusing on making sure his family looks fly as opposed to fortifying his own already formidable wardrobe.

"He's never thinking about himself," Uzi revealed. "It's weird. He was grabbing everything for his family. He said, 'I don't even get dressed anymore, I swag out my family.'" Uzi seemed to admire Kanye's dedication to keeping the fam decked out. "In that moment I realized: gotta swag out the whole family."

Elsewhere in the interview, Uzi speaks a little bit about a seemingly heated back and forth between himself and DJ Drama, whom he might have been alluding to in a series of tweets about record label frustrations back on Jan. 12.

"I'm just a person who speaks my mind. If I get mad at you, I'll tweet you," he said of the matter. Doesn't seem like he's thinking too much of the tweet, though.
