Lil Wayne has been a part of Cash Money records since the early 90s, but today he took to Twitter to say he wanted off the label and blasted Birdman for his album delay.

Tha Carter V, is set to hit stores Dec. 9—but earlier today in a series of frustrated tweets Weezy claimed that Cash Money Records and Birdman won't let him release it. He also went on to say he feels like a "prisoner" on the label and wants out.





This is the second major artist on Cash Money to publicly air their frustration after Tyga complained about being "held hostage" by the label back in October.
