Lil Wayne answers a question that's been barbershop staple for more than a decade.

On Monday (Dec. 17), Tha Carter V spitter appeared in the first episode of The Bumbu Room, which is a new interview series sponsored by Bumbu Rum co. For the episode, Wayne answers various questions from his fans, including the question of Rihanna vs Nicki Minaj and Real vs Fake Booties." In the final question, Weezy had a tough decision to make between two of the greatest basketball players of this century, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. Having likened himself to both MJ and Kobe in the past, his answer wasn't necessarily a predictable one.

"Jordan vs Kobe? Lord have mercy y'all just gave me a migraine," Wayne began. "I'm a real sports guy boy that is a tough, tough question. These days they think the tough question is Jordan or LeBron. No. Jordan or Kobe is the tough question. Lord have mercy. God, forgive me. Jordan, forgive me. But, it's Kobe."

Lil Wayne has likened himself to the former Chicago Bulls player in the past in songsl ike "Fireman," but he's also dedicated a few bars to the five-time NBA Champion. In fact, he dropped an entire song named after Kobe back in 2009.

"Kobe doin' work/2-4 on my shirt/He the greatest on the court/And I'm the greatest on the verse/Going for the fourth ring like it was his first," Wayne raps in "Kobe Bryant" produced by Infamous.
