Lil Wayne is hands down, one of the biggest music artists on the planet. So what happens when an artist like Lil Wayne makes a tour stop in his hometown of New Orleans? A party. A BIG party. Tonight, I had the chance to see Lil Wayne for a 4th time (???) - maybe a 5th time ....  I've really lost count.

More importantly tonight I got to witness a pretty solid supporting cast surrounding Lil Wayne. For the first time performing live I got to witness

one of my idols-Beastie Boys' famed DJ-Mixmaster Mike. I also got to witness one of the best drummers in the world, Travis Barker accompanying him. Paul Wall & up and the up-and-coming Yelawolf also performed, giving me a first look at each artist for the first time live. Rick Ross rocked the New Orleans Arena. Another first for me. Throw in Dj Khaled, along with Weezy's Young Money proteges Nicki Minaj & surprise guest Drake and that equaled a great evening of firsts for me !!

I also saw New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul get a lapdance from Nicki Minaj. Another first. LOL.

Not only did I have the chance to see these artists perform, I ended up randomly getting the chance to meet and hang out with most of them. It definitely made for a great experience. Check out the gallery below for my re-cap, as well as pictures with all the artists I had the chance to meet and hang with on the New Orleans stop of Wayne's 'I Am Still Music Tour'.
