Lil Xan appears to have taken a visit to the hospital, and it's for a reason you probably didn't even think was possible. Yesterday (Sept. 24), the rapper jumped onto Instagram Live where he said that he'd been hospitalized because he ate too many Flamin' Hot Cheetos. You read that right.

Standing from behind what's presumably his iPhone camera lens, the Total Xanarchy rapper shows viewers around a room as he explains the reason for his recent trip the hospital.

"Yeah, I went to the hospital today," he says in the video. "Getting ready to pack for this tour. I just want to let everybody know that I was in the hospital for not due to any drugs, but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and it ripped something in my stomach open a little bit and I puked a little blood. So we good.”

It's unclear whether or not Xan was joking about the cause of his stomach injury, but going off his lighthearted tone, that wouldn't be a bad guess. While his self-reported condition hasn't been verified, we do see him flash his seemingly hospital-issued wrist band. Here's to hoping whatever procedure he went through wasn't too painful. Based on some IG posts he uploaded today, it looks like he's probably alright.

In one post, Xan appears in a video and assures fans that he's remained sober while giving thanks for their support. He also speaks on his improved mental condition, which is something fans were concerned with when he explained his depression while keying his own car a few months ago.

"I'm ready to kick off my third tour. I just wanna thank everybody, you know, for giving me this opportunity—especially Monster—to come see y'all again," says Xan, who visited one of his fans after they overdosed earlier this month and fell into a coma. "Last tour was amazing, this tour is gonna be even more amazing. I've never been more healthier and sober in my life. I feel so clear-headed and I just wanna thank every one of y'all for everything you all have done, because without you guys, I would not be here."
