"Baby Daddy" rapper Lil Yachty is ready to flex his acting chops, and this time he's gunning for a role on Childish Gambino's award-winning show, Atlanta.

Lil Boat was ecstatic to learn Donald Glover's series has been renewed for a third season during the Fortnite Pro-Am tournament in Los Angeles last night (June 12). While speaking to TMZ, the avid gamer revealed he was supposed to appear on the show's first season, but due to scheduling conflicts he was unavailable.

"Bro, I've seen Donald Glover like, twice, and every time I see him I say 'Bruh, please put me on the show,'" Yachty told reporters. "He knows." After assuring viewers that Gambino "knows what he's doing" in regards to Atlanta, the "Solitaire" spitter goes on to share that he'd take on a role of a goon, drug dealer or even a crack addict. "I don't wanna play a rapper," he adds.

You may remember Lil Yachty's first on-screen appearance during George Lopez's Lopez show in April 2017. The lively rap phenom plays himself while being interviewed by another character, who winds up getting embarrassed by the show's titular star.

While speaking on Atlanta's upcoming season, Donald Glover compared the forthcoming season of Atlanta to Kanye West's critically-acclaimed third album, Graduation. "This is probably our most accessible but also the realest—an honest version of it—and I feel like the most enjoyable, like the third album.”

Stay tuned to find out if Yachty makes the cut this go-round, and catch what he had to say about it all below.
