About two months ago, Lil Yachty teased a collab between himself and Lil Pump. Now, he's promising a joint project with the ascendant South Florida rapper. The 2016 XXL Freshman tweeted out his special promise on Sunday (Nov. 12).

In the tweet, Yachty includes what appears to be a screenshot of a text convo between himself and Pump. In the texts, Yachty tells Pump they should be dropping a tape in January or February, before heading out on tour a short time later. Pump responds, "Let's do it."

In the text part of his tweet, Lil Boat wrote, "First Of The Year, We Promise." In an attached tweet, Yachty claims he's dropping Lil Boat 2, the sequel to his breakout 2016 project, Lil Boat. So it looks like Yachty's got a lot of work to do.

In other Lil Boat news, the Atlanta rapper recently popped up rocking a "Fuck Joe Budden" hoodie during one of his concerts. Last spring, rapper/media personality Joe Budden somewhat infamously grilled Yachty about the specifics of his record deal. Apparently, Lil Boat still feels some type, but he's not letting that stop him from getting to the music—and the bag.

Check out Yachty's tweets on his joint project with Lil Pump and his Lil Boat follow-up below. Peep a teaser of a collab between the two rappers beneath those tweets.
