Still doing the live Christmas tree thing?

A report out says that trees will be more expensive due to the fact that a few dry summers have had a big effect on trees grown in Oregon and North Carolina.  In addition to that, heavy rains damaged the crop in Missouri last year, thus not as many trees were harvested.

One more thing leading to an increase in prices, farmers reportedly planted fewer trees after the Great Recession in 2008.

So, if you're planning on putting the live tree up this season, let it be known that you may have to bring a lil more cash with you when it comes to picking out the perfect tree.
